Customer Review: Overall, the novel's mystery is its strong point. The clever weaving of several subplots with carefully constructed clues is well done, and left me guessing well into the end of the novel. That being said, I found the main character to be a bit too gutsy--there's brave and then there's unnecessary... more info
Customer Review: I have read most of Nancy Taylor Rosenberg's book and this one does not live up to her reputation. The story is convoluted, confusing and unbelievable. The dialogue is terrible and the editing is almost nonexistent toward the end of the book. Don't bother with this one.
Customer Review: The premise sounded very interesting but, but there were too many characters in this book that I did not care about, and /or who served no purpose especially Lily and her obnoxious friend. I think it would have been better if Rosenberg had just concentrated on the FBI Agent and tracking down the... more info
Customer Review: I listened to the whole unabrigdged book to try to understand why this book would get published. I belive it is the worst book of its genre that I have listened to on CD or read. There are several femal author's to choose from. Don't choose Ms. Rosenberg.Sullivan's Law (Rosenberg, Nancy Taylor)
Customer Review: I enjoyed the book as a whole, but I was disappointed in the number of errors. What happened to the editor? There were at least five grammatical errors and a couple of errors in the story. For example, when Shana and her friend went to the duplex to pick up Shana's stuff, they decided to take the... more info
Customer Review: There's not just one conflict of interest in this legal drama, but several, as families and colleagues of the prosecuting protagonist sort out their lives while sorting out a complex couple of murders. Families are torn, and healing takes place in unexpected ways. Teens rebel, then rather quickly... more info
Customer Review: I know it's an old book by now, but if I found it, some other poor unsuspecting consumer might stumble onto one and waste her money. Trial By Fire is without doubt the worst book I have ever had the misfortune of purchasing. I got the audio version and from the first sentence I was cringing at the... more info
Customer Review: This book (I heard it on tape) is full of implausible situations and characters that behave in unrealistic ways. The author has little knowledge of how judges, lawyers and police behave in real life (if you want intelligent realistic writing about the legal system, read John Grisham) -- and has her... more info
