only 2 plugs for the imac.
If you can be trusted I am a reviewer and will appreciate free items to have or use and review.
@gofudgeyourselfx
XDXDXDXD
BOTH use INTEL chips!!!!
XDXDXDXD
it is not G3 if it using INTEL, you dumb*ss
and also, in REALITY (back then) you need 3 cables (power, KEYBOARD, MOUSE). today, you only need 1 cable (power)
@gofudgeyourselfx please tell me you’re joking. a g3 imac definitely has an intel chip in it. that makes perfect sense. and when was microsoft even mentioned? grow a fucking brain or get off the web.
@Ishcoa nothing to do with U!
@gofudgeyourselfx Wow. Does this offend you that much?
it’s their product and their advertisement
Wow apple hated Microsoft even then
this makes me smile
Wow.
It still amazes me that they came with Internet explorer back then…
now its just the power plug!
@gofudgeyourselfx You’re wrong dude, this commercial is back from 1998, these specific iMacs were sold until G4 iMacs came out back in 2003, Apple didn’t start to use intel chips until 2006-2007 when the first MacBooks came out. also, you’re wrong with the “..in reality theres only 2 more cables to attach, the monitor power and vga cable..” because G3 iMacs are AIO computers (all-in-one), So actually the “monitor” is the computer itself, contains the logic board and everything. Peace
in reality theres only 2 more cables to attach, the monitor power and vga cable….this is why ive always hated macs, they have to lie to sell their crap and then pretend like its absurdly advanced when in reality its nearly identical hardware to a pc, in this commercial they BOTH use intel chips…windows is an OS, if a PC is “hard to set up” its a HP problem, not a microsoft one..
also if you cant figure out how to set up a pc, then you deserve to be ripped off and pay 2x more $ for a mac.
Stock portfolio? Seven year old?
That kid had help. I’m 14 and I can say that a G3 weighs a heck of a lot. I also have to say that I can set up a PC in 4-5 minutes.
@Spongehead1000 The reason for this was the alliance with Microsoft Apple did in these times. The company was about to go bankrupt, and so MS invested in Apple and Apple agreed in using IE as a standard browser.
They used IE while Safari was in development. Microsoft did a lousy job with it anyway. Way later updating than the Microsoft version.
why the hell would a APPLE mac use MICROSOFT internet explorer!!!!
That must be 1 strong kid. The imac weighs 40 pounds
My grandmother had both of these exact computers. I set them both up. The HP did suck, and it had bizarre speaker attachments.
that guy sounds like bill gates.
That adam is a moron, I can setup my PC in just 6 to 8 mins tops no problems. Also how the heck did that kid lift up the G3? That bloody thing weights like 4 concrete blocks.
haha, the kid checks his “stock portfolio”??
stupid…they showed the kid everything and the guy must bee out of nebrascka
@Max1636 IE for Mac v4.01 to be exact.
The final version of IE for Mac was IE for Mac v5.2.3. However, IE for Mac 6 (built on a modified version of the IE6 for Windows Trident engine, and featuring a Mac-specific version of Microsoft’s ActiveX technology to replace NPAPI plugins) was well under development by the time Apple launched Safari. After Safari was launched, Microsoft MacBU stopped IE for Mac development to focus on Office for Mac.
Macs suck
rofl!
