The only way I think this would be possible is by buying a USB or Firewire video input device.

These are designed to let you record VCR tapes etc. onto DVD via a mac/PC. I see no reason that this would'nt work.
I don't think you can use HDMI it will be composite or component at best.

Quite expensive but suppoosed to be very good: http://reviews.cnet.com/tv-tuner-adapters/pinnacle-video-capture-for/4505-9332_7-32738841.html

these are the different 24 inch configurations

2.66GHz
2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB memory
640GB hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
$1,499.00

2.93GHz
2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB memory
640GB hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 256MB memory
$1,799.00

3.06GHz
3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB memory
1TB hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 with 512MB memory
$2,199.00

My advice? get the 2.66ghz option. unless you are doing heavy graphics work that should be fine. i have a 2.4 ghz from 2 years ago that runs fine. If you or your parents balk at spending 1,500 dollars, there is also the mac mini which is $600 or $800. those dont come with a keyboard, mouse or moniter, but they are good comuters(mine works fine for stuff like the net, ims, writing papers, music and stuff that doesnt take a lot of power. their specs are

2.0GHz : 120GB
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
120GB hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
$599.00

2.0GHz : 320GB
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB memory
320GB hard drive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
$799.00

But if you want a 24 inch imac, the 2.66 ghz is good. the 20 inch model isnt too bad either, but the 2.66ghz 24 inch is a better deal

imac

mac mini

macs can play games, and come with a lot of good software on therethey arent as expensive as people say they are either. macs tend to last a long time as well

The main Soldier Field Parking Lot opens four hours before the show begins. But usually there are cops on the premises and barricades set up first thing in the morning, and sometimes they do wristbands for general admiss. I would call the venue or Ticketmaster for more info.

It will let you drag it to the trash. The computer never stops you from moving the mouse pointer. It just sends the file back to where it was. Why does it send it back? What is the message? Think about the wording of the message and you will probably know what to do.

Is the message about privileges? Is it your computer or are you a secondary user? Maybe you don't have administrative privileges. Talk to the computer's owner about this. If you are sure your account is an admin account, open Disk Utility and repair permissions.

Is the message about "file is in use"? Restart and try again.

Is this file on your computer or another one, such as a network file server? You may have to ask the administrator of the network to delete the file.

Is the file on an externally connected drive? Is the drive connected when you try to delete the file?

Did you create the video clip yourself with a camcorder? If you got the file from someone else, ask if this file has any special protection applied to it. If you got the file from a website, does the file have some odd spelling to its name? Try changing the name to "file.avi" or whatever. Just make it simple with only normal letters or numbers in the name.

Last suggestion: Create a new admin user, logout, login as the new user. Try to put the file in the trash. No go? You need to boot to the install disc and do an archive install saving users and network.
